The South Coast Tipis story begins with a wedding, when one of the owners, Jonny, was married in tipis in the Scottish Highlands. He was bitten by the bug and decided to take the tents to the beautiful landscape of southern New South Wales. "We wanted to provide a service that encouraged people to be outdoors and surrounded by the dramatic landscapes that we have here. We love to go to places others wouldn’t, down dusty roads and mud tracks to find amazing places in the bush to celebrate. All About Me Marquees and Events were established in 2012 and have grown rapidly to become one of the biggest tipi rental businesses in the UK, with multiple awards to their name. Based in North-West England, they provide tents for events throughout the UK. They recently created a set up with the largest number of Tentipi Event Tents ever linked in the UK, the second biggest in the world! MONTANA, USA

Bodhi Farm is a 35 acre organic farm nestled against the Gallatin Mountains in Montana, owned by husband and wife team Tanya and Rayner. They have two separate tipi set ups, their first uses three Stratus 72s for weddings, private and public events, in an idyllic setting with mountain views.

The second is a single Stratus 72 used to create a ‘Yoga Shala’, where visitors enjoy their practice immersed in nature.

SUSSEX, UK

Tribeca Tipis are a family run business based near the south coast of the UK. Before launching Tribeca, owners Kathryn and Jim ran an outdoor glamping events company for 10 years. Alongside the tipis, they also provide boutique luxury glamping accommodation, as well as a large selection of interiors. “We chose Tentipi as we wanted a structure that could cope well with all weather conditions, and we knew that Tentipi offered the highest quality on the market. WARWICKSHIRE, UK

Pub Group, Lovely Pubs, have seven pub restaurants in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. Four of their venues have Cirrus 40s tipis.

The tipis are used to create al fresco dining areas, extending the use of their garden spaces in winter months and adding space for private bookings. Their tipis comfortably seat groups up to 30 people, with fire pits, dining tables and lounge furnishings.

NORTH WALES, UK

In the heart of North Wales sit two Stratus 72s, overlooking the world’s first inland surf lagoon. The tipis, pitched on the banks of the surf lagoon, provide space for meetings, dining and activities for group bookings.

NORRBOTTEN COUNTY, SWEDEN

Aurora Safari Camp offers guests from around the world the opportunity to immerse themselves in a Scandinavian winter, at the world’s first glamp site based in an Arctic winter climate.

The camp welcomed their first guests in 2013. It was originally made up of four Cirrus 20s and a Cirrus 40 that serves as a lounge. In 2021 they were amongst the first Tentipi customers to take delivery of the Aurum 33, the first model in our new range of glamping tents.

HARROGATE, UK

Cedar Court is a well-established wedding and event venue close to the Dales in North Yorkshire, UK. They invested in a Stratus 72, to provide an extra space for events and increasing capacity for their restaurant. They created a raised deck for their tipi to sit on and added WallFlex panels around the entire tent to provide weather protection while maximising space and light. "We had hired a Tentipi tent before we bought ours and it was clear it was a great product. We decided to purchase our own for long term use, and the team at Tentipi supported us through the specification, design and install process, which is exactly what we needed. GLOUCESTERSHIRE, UK

Based in the Cotswold countryside, Wild Carrot have a cafe, a cycle centre and a glamping site. They came to us in need of extra space for their cafe during winter months. The tipis have extended their available seating and opened up hospitality options for them. In early summer 2021 they added three Aurum 33s to their glampsite, making them amongst our first Aurum 33 customers in the UK.

Hartree Estates demonstrate perfectly how to use tipis to create a luxurious wedding venue offering exclusive use of its five-star guest accommodation, tipi venue and parkland for a limited number of weddings each year.

Their set-up includes three Stratus 72s with secondary poles and TipiStars, this enables them to keep their set-up safely standing for six months at a time.
